Hotel Indigo Torquay
Hotel Indigo Torquay is a boutique seafront hotel on Torquay’s harbour, offering a stylish, work-friendly base for remote workers and digital nomads visiting the English Riviera. Opened in late 2025, the hotel’s design draws on Torquay’s maritime heritage and local character, giving it a distinctive coastal feel rather than the generic corporate look of many chain hotels.
The ground-floor lounge and bar areas provide comfortable seating with complimentary WiFi throughout, making it easy to settle in with a laptop between meetings, video calls, or a longer working stay. The bright, design-led communal spaces are well suited to remote work — spacious enough to spread out, with good natural light and a relaxed rather than corporate atmosphere. When it’s time for a break, guests and visitors can head to Root & Reef, the hotel’s on-site restaurant serving fresh, locally sourced Devon dishes built around the region’s fishing and farming heritage, or unwind at The Cast, the rooftop bar with sweeping views over Tor Bay — a memorable spot for a working lunch or an end-of-day drink.
Beyond the workspaces, the hotel offers 153 rooms and suites, a 24-hour fitness centre with sea views, spa and wellness facilities, and on-site parking. Its harbour-front location puts it within easy walking distance of Torquay seafront, the marina, and the town centre, while being dog-friendly makes it a practical option for those combining remote work with travel. Whether you’re passing through for a day of work or staying longer to enjoy the English Riviera, Hotel Indigo Torquay offers a comfortable, well-connected base with the amenities remote workers need.

I regularly work from here and the views are amazing, staff are also really friendly.
Only downside is if your traveling by car its around £15 per day parking onsite.
